Step 1

Pre-register for Hajj quota allocation. National Identity Card (NID)/Valid Passport, Birth Certificate (Below 18), Work Permit/Driving License (NRB)

Select goHajj.ai as your trusted agency and provide the pilgrim information.

Generate voucher for payment and pay BDT 30,000 pre-registration fee.

Pilgrims obtain a pre-registration certificate, and have their pilgrim serial number determined.

Select the Hajj package that matches your budget, comfort level, and preferences.

Confirm your Hajj booking by paying full fixed fee of the declared package.
Step 3

Pilgrims must complete their biometric enrollment (finger Prints and facial photo) at designated centers to facilitate visa processing.

A mandatory health fitness check-up and receive vaccinations at government centers to obtain their official e-Health Certificate.

Submit documents, passport details, and health certificates to initiate Hajj visa issuance electronically through the official Saudi ministry system.

Step 4

Make a sincere intention to perform Hajj solely for the pleasure of Allah.

Repent for past sins and ask Allah for forgiveness before beginning the journey.

Clear debts, return borrowed items, and seek forgiveness from family, friends, and colleagues.

Establish all five daily prayers on time and strengthen your connection with Allah.

Develop a daily Quran-reading habit and reflect on its meanings.

Understand the history of Hajj and its significance.

Increase remembrance of Allah, Salawat upon the Prophet (PBUH), and personal supplications.

Train yourself to avoid anger, arguments, backbiting, and impatience.

Develop generosity and compassion by helping those in need.

Study the rites, duas, and rules of Hajj to perform them correctly.

Participate in hands-on training sessions and mock demonstrations to practice each step of Hajj.

Watch video tutorials, Hajj documentaries on YouTube. Learn about the heritage sites, lives of prophets and their sacrifices.

Learn crowd management, emergency procedures, navigation, communication tools, and group coordination during Hajj.

Walk 3–5 km daily to prepare for the long distances covered during Hajj.

Perform light exercises such as jogging, cycling, or stair climbing several times a week.

Practice stretching and basic strength exercises to improve balance, mobility, and reduce fatigue.
Step 8

Train yourself to remain calm during delays, crowds, and unexpected challenges.

Prepare mentally for simple accommodation, long walks, and limited personal space.

Remind yourself that Hajj is a spiritual journey of worship, humility, sacrifice, and obedience to Allah.

The Sahi Intention
Step 9

It involves performing Umrah first, and then re-entering Ihram for Hajj on the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah. A Qurbani (Dam-e-Sukur) is required.

A standalone pilgrimage intended only for Hajj, without combining it with Umrah. No animal sacrifice is required.

Pilgrims enter a single state of Ihram and perform both Umrah and all Hajj rituals together. An animal sacrifice is mandatory.
Step 10

Labbayka Allahumma Labbayk. Labbayka La Sharika Laka Labbayk. Innal Hamda Wan Ni'mata Laka Wal Mulk. La Sharika Lak.

It symbolizes complete submission, devotion, and readiness to obey Allah's command. Pilgrims begin reciting Talbiyah after entering the state of Ihram and continue reciting it frequently throughout their journey until the beginning of Ramy (stoning).
Step 11

Pilgrim should clean their mustaches, armpits, and underarm hair, cut their nails, use perfume in body, and take a bath to purify themselves.

It consists of two white unstitched sheets. Wrap the lower garment (Izar) and secure around the waist. Wrap and drape the upper cloth (Rida). The clothing is intended to signify that in front of Allah there is no difference.

No special dress for women in Ihram. The clothes that women usually wear are their Ihram. They may wear loose and modest clothes of any color. Scholars suggest to wear a black/white burqa.

Pray two rak'ahs of Nafl prayers and begin state of Ihram.

O Allah, I intend to perform Umrah, so make it easy for me and accept it from me.

Continue reciting Talbiyah until you see the Kaaba. Men should recite it loudly and women should recite it softly.
Step 12

Shaving head or trimming hair from any part of the body is prohibited

Trimming fingernails or toenails is not permitted

Don’t apply perfume, scented oils, or fragrances on the body or ihram

Hunting, killing, chasing, or helping to hunt land animals is strictly prohibited

Conducting marriage (nikah), proposing marriage, acting as a marriage guardian or witness is not permitted.

Stay away from sexual intercourse, sexual touching, kissing, foreplay, lustful looking at opposite sex, any action leading to sexual desire

Avoid Fighting, arguing aggressively, abusive language, major sins and immoral behavior

Don’t wear Shirt, pants, undergarments, jackets, traditional sewn clothing fitted to the body

Avoid Hats, caps, turbans, any item touching and covering the head

Niqab, face veil touching the face should be avoided

Avoid wearing gloves and socks
Step 13

Umbrella for shade, wristwatch, belt, glasses, sandals (with ankles and most of the foot exposed for men)

Take necessary clothes and medicines in your hand luggage, as there may be a slight delay in receiving large luggage.

Write your name, address or mark on your luggage for easy identification

Take your passport, ticket, and ID card, Photocopy the necessary documents

Endorse foreign currency in your passport and keep the required number of Saudi Riyals with you.
Step 15

Relax and wait in the Haji Camp. Pray and recite Talbiyah continuously.

Book your luggage at the Haji camp. The luggage will be delivered directly to the hotel in Makkah.

Immigration of Bangladesh part will be completed at Ashkona Haji Camp

Pilgrims will be taken to the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka by bus from the Haji camp.

Pilgrims complete Saudi immigration and biometric procedures at Dhaka Airport, allowing them to arrive in Saudi Arabia smoothly.

The direct flight usually takes approximately 6.5 hrs to 7 hrs

Pilot the announces the Miqat (the sacred boundary around Makkah). If a pilgrim did not enter Ihram before boarding the plane, he should do so before crossing the Miqat.

The people of Saudi Arabia welcome the guest of Allah in Jeddah airport with snacks and refreshments

Travel by bus to Makkah, reciting Talbiyah as they draw closer to the house of Allah

Pilgrims settle into their hotel rooms and prepare for their first visit to Masjid Al-Haram

The pilgrim luggage’s are delivered to hotel lobby within 24-72 hrs

Step 19

It is mandatory for tawaf like Namaz. If one breaks his / her wudu during tawaf, one should stop at that round, perform wudhu and complete the remaining.

Open the shoulder and perform Tawaf by circling the Holy Kaaba 7 times in anti-clockwise direction. Start from Hajre Aswad (Black stone) and the green light (Raising hand).

“Bismillahi Allahu Akbar, wa lillahil hamd” (at the start of circle). Learn dua’s during tawaf & Sa’i

Ar-Ramal is the ritual where only male pilgrims are required to walk briskly with their chests thrust forward and with their shoulders rolling slightly for the first three round.

Offer 2 rakat salah (with Surah Kafiroon and Ikhlas) behind Maqaam-e-Ibrahim (preferred) or anywhere inside Masjid-al-Haram.

Drink the holy water after salah. It is not obligatory, it is mustahab. Avoid chilled water.

It is recommended, but not required for validity.

Pilgrims perform Sa'i by walking seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwa, covering about 3.15 km.

Safa to Marwah (1 count), Marwah to Safa (1 count). In this way the ritual walking begins at Safa and ends at Marwah.

Men runs between a selected distance marked with green lights while women walk normally.
Step 21

Men may either shave their heads completely (Halq), which is considered more virtuous, or trim their hair evenly from all sides (Taqsir).

Women trim a small portion of their hair, typically the length of a fingertip.

It is the sacred boundaries surrounding Makkah that have been designated by Allah as a protected and holy sanctuary.

Do not hunt, cut plants, fight, cause harm, disturb others, or violate the sacredness of the Holy Land.

Pilgrims should strive to perform the five daily prayers in congregation at Masjid al-Haram.

Recite the verses of Allah and understand the meaning

Engage in abundant dua and dhikr

Everyday, every waqt, try to circle the house of Allah

Visit Aisha Mosque and put Ihram for Umrah

Beware of technics used by Shaytan during Hajj

Avoid gossip, backbiting, arguments, quarrels, foul language, sinful behavior, and all forms of disobedience.

Donate Quran and wheel chair to the grand mosque

Serve and assist the guests of Allah

Stay fit and safe for the main Hajj rituals

Focus on sincerity, patience, humility, and obedience to Allah throughout the journey.

Pilgrims gather at the plains of Arafah.

Those who gather at Masjid Al-Namirah to listen to the Hajj sermon (Khutbah)

If you are at Masjid Al-Namirah, perform the Dhuhr (noon) and Asr (afternoon) prayers combined and shortened. Others pilgrims will pray regular Dhuhr and Asr prayer.

The most important pillar of Hajj. Supplicate and seek forgiveness.

Depart Arafah after sunset

Collect pebbles for Ramy (stoning)

Pray Magrib and Isha together at Muzdalifah
